we had a wonderful stay at the greyhound. the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short drive from scarborough. After a long day walking in the rain, we arrived to a lovely warm room with comfy beds and great shower. The cozy pub downstairs provided a nice spot to unwind, and the garden area looked lovely for a sunny morning. The only downside was the road noise, but it faded away once we settled in. 😊

Engaging pub atmosphere with local patrons, Located on the Yorkshire Wolds Way, Ample parking space at the hotel
The cleanliness standards in bathrooms need significant improvement!!! Traffic noise from the nearby A64 disrupts a peaceful stay!!! Outdated bathroom fittings suggest a much-needed refurbishment!!!

Exceptional Food and Lovely Atmosphere
I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay with my family, where the spacious family room was beautifully decorated and ensured a cozy night’s sleep. The highlight was undoubtedly the dining experience. both dinner and breakfast showcased superbly prepared local cuisine, with the evening's steak a standout. While the location was delightful, a few minor updates to room amenities would enhance comfort even further.

We appreciated the comfortable chairs in our room. The dog welcome pack was a thoughtful touch for our pets. Both the evening meal and breakfast were truly enjoyable.
It was a little noisy at night due to being close to the pub area.

The stewed partridge was an absolute gem, perfectly seasoned and humble yet so hearty. The breakfast spread was another highlight—gluten-free options galore! The family room was spacious and clean, making it a comfortable base with all the charming touches you'd expect.
Only a minor point, but a lamp by the mirror would brighten up the getting ready area. Traffic noise might bother light sleepers, but earplugs are provided, which is a thoughtful touch.

The courtyard room was spacious yet cosy, perfect for our stay while walking the Wolds Way. Welcoming owners ensured that dietary needs were well catered for, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. the noise levels from outside disrupted our sleep, and paying upfront was off-putting. Breakfast timings were also restrictive, making it challenging to fully relax in the mornings.

The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The evening meal? Amazing homemade food, just what I needed after a long drive.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still acceptable given the quality we experienced.

Despite some hiccups, our stay was enjoyable. The highlight was the delicious dinner—each bite was cooked flawlessly. Though our room had its quirks, the cleanliness was a plus. For future guests, bringing your own coffee would help during breakfast wait times.
